Provide UV light. The light should imitate the one given off by the sun as this helps in your baby dragon's digestion. Working in a way much like photosynthesis, UV light encourages healthy digestion in your dragon. This is especially important for baby dragons as they are always in danger of indigestion due to your young age and reduced capacity to absorb food in large sizes. It is recommended to use paper towels as your baby dragon's substrate. Its is clean, easy to replace when dirty, and inedible.
Bearded mythical beasts are usually lizards in which initially originated in Australia, you should have them in the bearded dragon vivarium. These kinds of lizards are usually cold-blooded creatures which often reside in dried up, dry wooden property locations as well as leave surroundings.
Green Iguana - Many kids want one of these lizards. They're one of the most well-known and recognized lizards, but they also happen to be one of the most difficult to properly raise. They're herbivores, and thus seem like they'd be easier to feed and easier to take care of right? Your child can simply throw some lettuce in the cage and it's fine, right? Wrong. An iguana is not the choice for a child. I can't stress this enough. Their diet is very complicated, you need to know about vegetarian nutrition to properly feed them. There have been countless tragedies in wich young iguanas have either died or become deathly ill due to poor nutrition.
Check for parasites regularly. Although they are parasite-free upon purchase, being bred in captivity, there is always the danger of parasite infestation once your baby dragon has been exposed to the elements, especially to the bugs, worms, and crickets he will be fed with.
When you get your first lizard, make sure that you house it in a tank with enough space for your pet to move around and grow. Some breeders will opt getting two tanks for their pets. A small tank while the lizard is still a hatchling and another one when the pet lizard has become an adult. There is nothing wrong with this but it's a waste of money. Instead of getting two housings, just get one that will be enough to house an adult lizard. This way, you don;t have to transfer your pet from one housing to another.
